Ronnie's Long time collaboration with vocalist Ronnie Leigh and keyboardist Larry Arlotta led to two Grammy nominated CD’s!
From there he went on to become the touring bassist for Doc Severinson of “Tonight Show with Johnny Carson”. . He was a long time the bassist for jazz vocalist Nancy Kelly whose first album on Amherst Records, went to number eight on the Billboard Jazz Charts.
Ronnie has recently worked with such luminaries as Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels; Jay Stollman and the Blue Eyed Souls; Joe Locke; Dean Brown; Pee Wee Ellis, Fred Wesley and Maceo Parker (James Brown Horns); John Hall (Orleans); Gary U.S. Bonds; Felix Cavaliere & Gene Cornish (The Rascals); Kathy Sledge (Sister Sledge); Carmine Appice; Randy Bachman; Pat Travers; Russell Thompkins, Jr. (The Stylistics); and Reggie Torian (The Impressions); David Clayton Thomas (BS&T); Paul Schafer (David Letterman) and drummer Steve Smith (Journey - Vital Information). Ron has been an Upstate NY favorite bassist playing with Primtime Funk with Ronnie Leigh and the Funky Jazz Band with Dave Hanlon.
